This, too, is part of practice.
Life has been especially full lately, and this week I’m reminded of something many piano teachers teach early:
When learning scales, you don’t stop the entire song for every missed note.
You keep playing.
You learn to stay with the rhythm, trust the larger arc, and return to refine the difficult measures with practice.
